About the Edexcel Level 7 Qualification
The Edexcel Level 7 qualifications in Strategic Management and Leadership will broaden the learners’ strategic management and leadership skills. There is strong emphasis on practical skills development alongside the development of requisite knowledge and understanding in the business sector. It is a valuable qualification that aims to equip and prepare learners to understand strategic management and leadership issues in organisations.
The qualification is designed to allow entry to and/or enhance progression in a wide range of management roles in the public, private or charitable sectors.
After successfully completing the Level 7 in Strategic Management & Leadership, learners can progress on to the MBA/Masters programme with an exemption of up to 120 credits.
The Edexcel BTEC Level 7 Award provides an introduction to the skills, qualities and knowledge that may be required for employment in a particular vocational sector.
The Edexcel BTEC Level 7 Award in Strategic Management and Leadership is a 10-credit and 30-guided-learning-hour (GLH) qualification that consists of one mandatory unit.

The Edexcel BTEC Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership is a 60-credit qualification that consists of three mandatory units plus optional units that provide for a combined total of 60 credits (where at least 55 credits must be at Level 7 or above).
The Edexcel BTEC Level 7 Extended Diploma provides an even broader work-related focus than the Edexcel BTEC Level 7 Diploma and is particularly useful for learners who wish to progress to an MBA or other Masters degree programme.
The Edexcel BTEC Level 7 Extended Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership is a 120-credit qualification that consists of three mandatory units plusoptional units that provide for a combined total of 120 credits (where at least 115 credits must be at Level 7 or above).

Students should have a relevant higher education qualification and/or relevant work experience. [i.e. first degree, HND or Diploma in any discipline ]. Candidates who do not possess the required academic qualifications but have a minimum of five years work experience in a strategic management position are also encouraged to submit an application.
Students who are non-native English speakers or who have not studied the final two years of school in English can demonstrate capability in English at a standard commensurate to IELTS 6.5 for this qualification
